I’ve had to move server(*)  at very short notice, so please bear with me while I build the new site.

I’ve taken the plunge, after years of mainly being an ASP programmer and hosting on the Windows platform, of moving to a Linux host.  I  programme in PHP too, so I’m looking forward to what I can develop here.

<update>Well – this is embarrassing!  I moved server in June, and now at the end of September I’ve finally got around to creating some initial site content and basic details copied from the old site.  I’ve been very busy with client work… and roof repairs!</update>

* I would advise you against hosting with Netcetera (UK).  I have never experienced such shoddy service: email problems; mysql server down often; although customer service appeared to be on the ball fixing stuff, problems constantly happened again and the company appeared unable to accept there was a long-term problem.
