PC, Mac or Linux - it doesn't matter!
With many years technical experience, allied to my skills in adult learning, my approach is to help people understand technology. I've used (and taught) PCs, Macs, Linux, Atari ... so I can help with most systems!
Simple or Complex, Big or Small
Whether its a simple design of just a few pages, or more complex database-driven sites with custom content-management systems. For example, I have developed content-management systems for several photographer clients, automatically keywording from uploaded image EXIF data into the database.
If you need a SQL / My-SQL / PHP / ASP website or customised blog - I can programme it! If you don't have a clue what all that means - don't worry! (Its all about how the content of your website is stored and presented on demand to the browser, for example keyword searches to find photos, or shop items).
Standards-Driven
I design with CSS, to the W3C guidelines, so websites work well on the latest browsers (Firefox, IE8), but also 'gracefully degrade' for older browsers.
A Friendly, Local Service
OK, if you don't happen to live nearby* then it'll just be a friendly service! The beauty of the internet means that my clients can be (and some are) anywhere in the world.
